Joël Dedji Dahoua
ADoRe Academy founder | Certified piano teacher (English /French)
I'm Dedji.
I teach because I love to share my joy of learning and how gratifying it is to see my students finally play a piece that they hold to heart.
What I enjoy most about working with beginners is the moment something clicks, a child who plays their first melody with both hands, or an adult reaching small goals. I'm patient, encouraging, and relaxed. Lessons are a place where making mistakes is normal and asking questions is welcome.
For parents : my youngest students are 4 and 5, and I keep lessons short, playful, and varied so children stay happy and curious. My goal is for your child to look forward to the piano, not dread it.
For adults : you likely have a goal and limited time. I'll help you reach it with clear explanations and music you actually want to play.
What you can expect
Real music early. Most beginners play a simple piece with both hands within their first few lessons.
Lessons shaped around you. Games and rhythm activities for young children, and efficient, goal-focused work for adults.
Practice that fits real life. A short weekly plan, 15-30 minutes a day with practical methods to improve with efficiency.
A well-rounded foundation. Technique, music reading, and understanding how music works, with room for creativity.
My background
I'm classically trained and hold composition certifications from the National University of Singapore and Berklee College of Music. Over the past three years, I've taught more than 20 students in person and online.
My hope is that you or your child leaves each lesson feeling proud, confident, and excited to play more.
