  • Squarespace, for website hosting and website functionality;

  • Squarespace Scheduling / Acuity Scheduling, for appointment management and information submitted through the booking process;

These providers may process information under their applicable terms and contractual obligations. We take reasonable steps to control access and protect information entrusted to them.

We do not sell the personal information of our students or prospective students.

7. Hosting and Processing Outside Quebec

Some service providers may process or store information outside Quebec, including in other Canadian provinces or in other countries.

Before publishing this Policy, ADoRe Academy must verify the locations where its providers process data, the applicable contractual terms, and the legal requirements governing disclosures of personal information outside Quebec.

Where a privacy impact assessment or other measures are required by law, these must be completed before the relevant disclosure takes place.

Information about data-processing locations will be specified here once these checks have been completed.

8. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to support website functionality, remember certain settings, measure website traffic, or support advertising activities.

If Google Analytics is enabled, it may process website usage data to generate statistics.

If Google Ads or associated advertising technologies are enabled, certain data may be used to measure advertising results or support other configured advertising functions.

The technologies actually used, the information collected, the recipients, and the applicable consent settings must be verified in the website configuration and the relevant accounts.

Features that enable identification, location tracking, or profiling will not be enabled by default where applicable law requires them to remain disabled until the individual takes action. Where required, visitors will be informed about these features and how to activate them.

You may also manage certain cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect the functionality of certain features.

9. Retention and Destruction

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, subject to applicable legal, accounting, and contractual obligations.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and your relationship with ADoRe Academy. For example, information relating to an inquiry, booking, enrolment, contract, or invoice may be subject to different needs and requirements.

Our retention schedule must specify the applicable periods or criteria for each category of information. Once the applicable retention period ends, information is securely destroyed or anonymized where legally permitted.

You may contact the person responsible for the protection of personal information to ask about the applicable retention period for a category of information.
